Events and Announcements

Creating a video about an event or initiative is a great way to spread the news of your work. The examples below include re-caps of events, event announcements to increase registration, and videos that were showed live at conferences.

Auburn Lives of Commitment Virtual Event

During the COVID-19 pandemic many organizations have been faced with the choice to cancel or postpone events, but many are instead turning to a virtual version of an in-person gathering to help maintain what makes their in-person event special. The latter choice was Auburn’s response to deciding how to hold their annual “Lives of Commitment” event. For this event, Auburn worked with Sema Films to create a dynamic virtual gathering. Participants submitted content (shot on their mobile phones) and we created a final product that was polished and live-streamed to 1900 participants. If you’re looking to create a virtual event that’s more than another Zoom call, let us help! We would love to help you imagine and create something spectacular!

Auburn’s Lives of Commitment Recap

Each year Auburn Seminary holds a “Lives of Commitment” banquet to celebrate and honor women of moral courage. This video is a re-cap of the event where a condensed version of the best moments were put together as a final video. In addition to this longer video, Sema Films also created a dozen 45-second sound bites from presentations that Auburn was able to push out on social media.

Coca-Cola Studios Cannes Festival of Creativity

This video, commissioned by Coca-Cola Studios, was an internal video for the company that focused on a writer who attended the “Cannes Festival of Creativity” in France and gave a re-cap of the conference for the staff at Coca-Cola Studios.

Conference Speaker Introduction

Some of the work that Sema Films does is prep-work for conferences and events. This is an example of a speaker introduction that was used at an Emory Conference to introduce Ted-style talks. For this conference, Sema Films was present to capture the conference and create multiple videos of speakers in addition to prep work that included speaker introduction videos, powerpoint graphics, and short videos that were shown throughout the conference.

InwardBound Participant Reflection

This video was commissioned by the InwardBound Center for NonProfit Leadership to allow participants to reflect on their Women on the Edge Leadership Program. Sema Films created ten testimonial videos at the end of this conference and these videos were used to recruit future participants for the program. .

Microsoft Conference Recap

This video was a re-cap of a conference designed for the sales team at Microsoft. Since some employees could not be present, a video was created that both gave a summary of the presentations and included a message from senior management.

Society for Experiential Graphic Design Conference Recap

This video was commissioned by the Society for Experiential Graphic Design as a conference re-cap to both summarize the event and promote the next year’s conference. Sema Films was present at the event, filming selected sessions, and edited together this video at the end of the conference.

General Assembly

This 55-second ad was created for Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to increase enrollment at its annual “General Assembly” event. The video was created by using previously gathered footage of the conference city and past footage from other CBF General Assemblies. This video used a voiceover to keep the message concise and motion graphics to present information.
