Wes Browning has spent the past ten years as a filmmaker dedicated to telling stories that capture the human spirit. His passion is creating documentary films, both for film festivals and for non-profit clients. His work with non-profits allows these organizations to tell their story and describe their mission to their supporters and potential donors.
Wes has a particular passion for stories that relate to Africa. He and his wife, Melissa Browning, have traveled throughout the sub-Saharan Africa region and lived for two years in Kenya working with refugees and street children. Wes just returned from a year in Tanzania where he was doing research for a feature film on child-headed households. The children in the film were orphaned by HIV/AIDS and now live alone, caring for themselves and their siblings.
Wes currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife Melissa and his daughter, Olivia.
